Product Description

Alumina ceramic patch wear-resistant pipe is a composite pipe product developed specifically to address the wear challenges faced by industrial pipes. It utilizes a dual-layer composite structure consisting of a high-strength ceramic patch and a metal matrix. The core wear-resistant layer is made of alumina ceramic (AlO2) with a purity exceeding 92%, sintered at high temperatures.

The ceramic patch has a hardness of HV1100-1300, bonded tightly to the inner wall of metal pipes such as Q235 carbon steel and stainless steel. Available in diameters from DN50 to DN2000.

Key Features
1. Ultra-Wear-Resistant

Alumina ceramics offer 20 times the wear resistance of ordinary seamless steel pipes. Service life can be extended from 3-6 months to 3-5 years in highly abrasive media environments.

2. Corrosion-Resistant

Withstanding corrosion from acidic, alkaline, and salt solutions (pH 1-14) and high-temperature flue gases (≤800°C).

3. Low Resistance and High Efficiency

Smooth surface with a low coefficient of friction (0.15-0.2), reducing energy consumption by 15%-20%.

4. Safe and Reliable

High-strength adhesive with shear strength >15MPa prevents ceramic fallout even under shock and vibration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the main advantage of alumina ceramic lined pipes?
The primary advantage is extreme wear resistance. They can last 5-10 times longer than traditional steel or alloy pipes in highly abrasive environments like mining and power plants.
Q2: Can these pipes handle high temperatures?
Yes, the ceramic material and specialized adhesives are designed to withstand high-temperature flue gases up to 800°C.
Q3: Are custom sizes and shapes available?
Absolutely. We support customization for straight pipes, elbows, tees, and reducers in diameters ranging from DN50 to DN2000.
Q4: How does the ceramic stay attached to the steel pipe?
We use high-strength, high-temperature-resistant industrial adhesives with a shear strength exceeding 15MPa, ensuring the patches remain secure under impact.
Q5: What industries typically use these products?
They are widely used in coal washing, steel plants, thermal power generation, chemical processing, cement manufacturing, and mining slurry conveying.
Q6: Does the lining affect the flow efficiency?
The smooth ceramic surface actually improves efficiency by reducing friction, which can lower energy consumption for pumps and fans by up to 20%.
