Product Description

Alumina ceramic patch wear-resistant pipe is a composite pipe product developed specifically to address the wear challenges faced by industrial pipes. It utilizes a dual-layer composite structure consisting of a high-strength ceramic patch and a metal matrix. The core wear-resistant layer is made of alumina ceramic (AlO2) with a purity exceeding 92%, sintered at high temperatures.

The ceramic patch has a hardness of HV1100-1300 (far exceeding the HV200-300 hardness of ordinary steel). A special adhesive bonds the ceramic patch tightly to the inner wall of metal pipes, such as Q235 carbon steel and stainless steel. Available in diameters from DN50 to DN2000, the product can be customized to meet industrial needs with various specifications, including straight pipes, elbows, tees, and reducers.

Key Features
Ultra-Wear-Resistant

Service Life Extended 5-10 Times. Alumina ceramics offer 20 times the wear resistance of ordinary seamless steel pipes. Service life can be extended to 3-5 years for highly abrasive media.

Corrosion-Resistant

Exceptional chemical stability, withstanding corrosion from acidic, alkaline, and salt solutions (pH 1-14) and high-temperature flue gases (≤800°C).

Low Resistance and High Efficiency

Smooth surface with a friction coefficient of only 0.15-0.2. Energy consumption is reduced by 15%-20% for the same conveying volume.

Safe and Reliable

High-strength adhesive with shear strength >15MPa. Impact-resistant treatment prevents ceramic fallout during shock and vibration.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the main material used in the wear-resistant lining?
A: The core wear-resistant layer is made of high-purity alumina ceramic (Al2O3), typically with a purity exceeding 92% to 95%.
Q2: How much longer does this pipe last compared to standard steel pipes?
A: Depending on the abrasive media, these pipes can extend the service life by 5 to 10 times, often lasting 3-5 years in harsh conditions.
Q3: Can these pipes handle high-temperature environments?
A: Yes, the ceramic material is stable in high-temperature flue gases up to 800°C.
Q4: Are custom sizes and shapes available?
A: Yes, we support customization for various sizes from DN50 up to DN2000, including elbows, tees, and reducers.
Q5: What industries are these pipes best suited for?
A: They are widely used in coal washing, steel plants, thermal power, chemical engineering, and cement industries for conveying abrasive slurries or solids.
Q6: Does the ceramic lining fall off easily under vibration?
A: No, the patches are bonded using high-strength, high-temperature-resistant adhesives with a shear strength exceeding 15MPa, designed specifically for shock and vibration.
