High-efficiency hydrocyclone is a kind of classification equipment which uses centrifugal force to accelerate the sedimentation of ore particles, and is widely used in mining, chemical industry, water treatment and other industries.
1. High efficiency: High classification efficiency and large capacity. Efficiency can reach 80%~90%, especially for fine-grained materials (< 0.1mm).
2. Simple structure: Composed of a hollow cylinder and a cone, no complicated transmission parts, convenient for maintenance.
3. Small floor space: Compact structure saves land resources.
4. Strong adaptability: Adapts to changes in pulp properties such as particle size, density, and concentration.
5. Wear resistance: Uses cemented carbide or silicon carbide for easy-to-wear parts, prolonging service life.
The working principle is based on centrifugal force. When pulp enters the shell tangentially under pressure, it rotates at high speed. Coarse or dense particles are pushed to the periphery and discharge from the bottom grit port. Fine or low-density particles move upward in the center and discharge from the overflow pipe.
