Product Overview
Impact Resistant Steel Backed Rubber Ceramic Wear Liner

Impact Resistant Steel Backed Rubber Ceramic Wear Liner is compounded by high alumina ceramics and excellent natural rubber through a special process. The excellent damping performance of natural rubber greatly lowers the noise generated in transportation, effectively settling issues such as impact, abrasion, and noise.

Ceramic hex tiles, square tiles, and bricks are available in sizes from 10x10mm up to 100x150mm, with thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 63mm.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What materials are used in these wear liners?
The liners are a composite of high alumina ceramics (92%, 95%, or ZTA) vulcanized in a resilient natural rubber base, often with a steel backing for easy installation.
How does the rubber component help in mining applications?
The elastic property of the rubber dampens impact forces that could otherwise crack the ceramic tiles, and it significantly reduces vibration and noise during material transport.
Can these liners be customized?
Yes, we provide custom shapes and sizes to meet specific industrial requirements, including various thicknesses and ceramic shapes like cylinders, hex tiles, and cubes.
What is the main advantage of using ZTA ceramics?
ZTA (Zirconia Toughened Alumina) offers even higher fracture toughness and wear resistance compared to standard alumina, making it ideal for extremely high-impact zones.
What industries benefit most from ceramic rubber liners?
They are widely used in coal-fired power plants, cement plants, mining operations, and steel mills, particularly in chutes, hoppers, and bunkers where high abrasion occurs.
Are these liners resistant to chemicals?
Yes, the high alumina ceramic material provides excellent corrosion and chemical resistance, ensuring longevity in harsh industrial environments.
