Ceramic Lined Spools are composite piping components consisting of a steel outer shell and an inner lining of wear-resistant technical ceramics. They are designed to withstand extreme abrasion and erosion in material handling systems.
92-95% Alumina is the industry standard for general abrasive slurries. For high-impact areas, ZTA (Zirconia Toughened Alumina) is recommended. For extreme temperatures or high-velocity fine particles, Silicon Carbide (SiC) may be the best choice.
