❓ FAQ
Q1: What is the hardness range of the wear plate?

A: The hardness ranges from 58 to 65 HRC (600 BHN), which is approximately five times harder than unplated mild steel.

Q2: Can the plates be custom cut or formed?

A: Yes, they can be cut using plasma, waterjet, or laser. They can also be cold formed or rolled with a radius greater than 20 times the plate thickness.

Q3: What base materials are available?

A: Standard base materials include Q235, A36, NM400, HARDOX450, and other weldable alloy steels.

Q4: How do complex carbides differ from standard CCO?

A: Complex carbides contain additional alloys like Nb, Mo, V, and W, providing 3-5 times longer service life and better resistance at temperatures up to 600°C.

Q5: Is it possible to weld studs to the plate?

A: Yes, plates can be fabricated with studs (M12 to M24) welded to the backing plate for easy installation.

Q6: Are the fine cracks on the surface normal?

A: Yes, fine cracks perpendicular to the welding bead are normal and result from natural stress relieving in the very hard matrix.
