Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)

SCR stands for "Selective Catalytic Reduction". Urea aqueous solution is injected into the exhaust pipe to hydrolyze to NH3, and NH3 reduces the NOx in the tail gas to non-toxic nitrogen N2 in the SCR.

SCR is the ceramic catalyst or metal catalyst used on diesel cars and diesel engines which is coated with precious metal vanadium tungsten titanium or copper base and iron base. Catalytic Converter consists of catalyst (metal/ceramic honeycomb substrate coated with noble metals to be catalyst), stainless steel shell, and flange. If required, mufflers can be installed into the catalytic converter to reduce noise.
